The inspiration behind Uniquely Different Apparel clothing brand all started with our loving son Malachi! This special soul has changed our lives in so many ways and for the better. Malachi was diagnosed with autism making him so uniquely different from what most of us consider the norm.
Receiving that diagnosis was a little scary; however, we knew that something was different with Malachi. Now knowing, it also gave us a great deal of relief and allowed us to start researching and implementing specialized techniques to help Malachi thrive!
Having a loved one with autism (or any special needs) can sometimes be very overwhelming. There are many things that will trigger and over stimulate our little one, such as loud noises, touching, not being able to communicate his wants/needs etc. However, this journey has also been such a blessing each and every time there is a smile on his face.
The clothing brand was inspired by Malachi. He lets us know everyday that even though he has some differences he is still a loving and kind hearted little boy that has so much joy and inspiration to spread in this world.
So just remember that it may be a little much sometimes caring for your special needs loved one but God chose you for a reason, you are BUILT for this! You are also not alone. We at Uniquely Different Apparel are here in this journey with you and we love you!
